RE: Technology gives Local Chamber new ways to support Business
Trenton, ON: The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce has embraced some new technology that puts them on the leading edge when it comes to supporting their business members. With the help of some funding from Trenval Business Development Corporation they have been able to purchase a brand new website which is driven by a very powerful CMS (Content Management System) called Chamber Master. This new tool is going to allow the Quinte West Chamber to provide more enhanced listings for all their business members with many new opportunities that never existed before.
“We are very excited about this new website,” says Suzanne Andrews, general manager at the Quinte West Chamber. “It is going to allow our members to have a very detailed online profile with photos, videos, google maps and links to social media. This can all be accessed through our online search button where you can search by category, company name or key words. Businesses can now also post hot deals that are available to the general public and post any job openings they may have and special items for sale.”
The website itself was designed by local company DU Media Design and has a fresh, vibrant look with a layout that is easy to navigate. WWW.quintewestchamber.ca will be a place that people can visit to get up to date referrals and information on over 400 businesses in our community along with Chamber information and details on upcoming events.
One of the best things about the new site is that you can take it with you on the go. The site is completely responsive on all devices and can be viewed easily on tablets and smart phones. When viewed on a smart phone you can also choose to go to the mobile directly which gives you easy links to business profiles & maps, events, job postings and hot deals.
