SAVOUR – Bay of Quinte Food and Drink Festival
Trenton, Ontario – As we go through another fall, the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce is proud to share the success of their Annual Bay of Quinte Food and Drink Festival at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Friday, October 17th, 2014.
There was a variety of ‘tastes’ from regional caterers, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and cheese and chocolate makers. This year there was eight food vendors with a variety of food to taste from soup to sweet fudge, four wineries and two breweries. “OLG sponsored our Taster’s Choice draw again this year.” says Jillian McCormick, event coordinator, “Everyone had an opportunity to vote for their favourite drink vendor and favourite food vendor from the evening, winning this year was Sandbanks Estate Winery again and new vendor Jeff the Chef”. Guests enjoyed a wonderful display from regional artists and live jazz by The Groove Trio. There was also a silent auction with a great variety of items donated by local businesses and vendors.
