RE: Patrick Brown Comes to Quinte Region
Quinte West, ON: Patrick Brown, leader of the Official Opposition at Queen’s Park will be taking a day off from the Ontario Legislature and coming to the Quinte Region. At a Quinte West Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Wednesday, October 12 he will address the business crowd and share his position on what is going on in the province.
“We hear from many of the businesses in Quinte West about the rising costs of doing business in the province and government compliance costs so this is an opportunity to discuss the issues and hear about a different vision for the province,” said Suzanne Andrews, General Manager at the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce. “We worked with Hastings Prince Edward MPP Todd Smith to bring in the Opposition Leader so he could better understand some of the concerns affecting businesses of all sizes and all sectors in this part of the province.”
Patrick Brown became the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario in May of 2015 and in the September 2015 election became the MPP for Simcoe North and Ontario's Leader of the Official Opposition. He ran on a platform of Party renewal, promising to grow the Party to over 100,000 members from every walk of life and every corner of the province.
This event is being held at the Ramada Hotel Trenton, and is open to all businesses in the Quinte Region. A large crowd is expected so book your ticket by Friday October 7 to guarantee your seat. Tickets are $28 including HST and can be purchased by calling 613-392-7635 or by going to www.quintewestchamber.ca/events
