RE: Scuba Diving Comes to Quinte West
Quinte West, ON: Dive Force Scuba is opening a brand new shop in Quinte West, located at 81 Dufferin Ave in Trenton. The sport of Scuba Diving continues to grow around the world with industry leader PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) issuing over 900,000 diver certifications each year. Dive Force Scuba is owned and operated by David Burnside who was born in Kirkland Lake and served in the Canadian Army for 21 years. David along with his wife Nancy fell in love with the Trenton area and have lived in Consecon and Brighton. After seven over sea tours he retired from the military in 2007 and for the past 10 years had a business as a contractor. “Three years ago I decided to become a Padi Instructor and have been instructing locally for the past 3 years,” said Burnside. “I decided to start my own business as a dive shop owner and along with Nancy I look forward to working with experienced divers and those new to the sport.”
At Dive Force Scuba they will be offering the latest scuba diving gear and apparel with a wide variety of choices from the top brands. They will be offering all levels of instruction through their PADI courses and look forward to sharing the sport with those that are just getting into it and those that want to take their training further. Equipment rentals will be available for anyone taking courses or going diving.
In addition, Dive Force Scuba will offer servicing of all your gear in accordance with the most current procedures and you can get your scuba tanks filled while you wait, Nitrox is also available. Dive Force Scuba has an ultrasonic bath to service regulators that have been in salt waters and you can get visuals done on your tanks and get your valve serviced too.
