The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce our partnership with Yellow Pages and Shop The Neighbourhood.
Shop The Neighbourhood is a free national initiative of Yellow Pages, a company with a century-long legacy of working with Canada’s small businesses. On Saturday November 28, 2015, Canadians nationwide will be encouraged to make local purchases and take advantage of exclusive event day deals offered by businesses in their neighbourhoods.
Sandwiched between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year, Shop The Neighbourhood serves as a reminder to residents that their dollars have a greater impact in their communities when spent locally.
Last year 8,000 local businesses participated, offering more than 6,000 exclusive promotions on event day. Across Canada over 750,000 Canadian shoppers spent $89 million in local neighbourhoods. Shop The Neighbourhood was created to remind Canadians of the important benefit local shopping has on small businesses and the neighbourhoods we call home.
Register today as a business and join other chamber members across Canada in support of small businesses and our Canadian local economies.
