Equestrian Roots Feed & Supply has opened its doors in Quinte West at 2223 Hamilton Rd. Unit 25. Owned by Kristie Clarke, Equestrian Roots Feed & Supply is your stop for horse feed, horse tack, dog food and accessories.
“I started this business because I saw an opportunity to see my family more and also do what I love, all while helping the equestrian community,” she says. “Like many in the area, I have lived and breathed horses since I was little and it is way deep down into my roots, hence the Equestrian Roots name. We all know our horses come first and I am here to help.”
Having grown up in the Frankford area, Clarke says her family enjoys a laid-back life and their family horse Vera, who she says is very loved.
“After my dad’s passing, I had a ‘what do I want to do with my life’ moment as I didn’t want to just get by anymore,” she says. “So, I poured my heart and soul into something that’s been with me since I was little and I opened this tack store, I hope you all love it as much as I do.”
