East Coast Tattoo & Piercing Studio is officially re-opening its doors at their new location, bringing a heartfelt vision and creative passion to the local community. Owner Isabelle Payan moved to Quinte West from Nova Scotia in 2011, seeking a fresh start for herself and her children. “This town gave me a second chance at life, and now I want to give back by creating a space where art meets healing,” says Payan, “Opening East Coast Tattoo is more than a dream—it’s my way of keeping talent local and helping people reclaim their bodies and stories.” Isabelle’s partner Paul, also an artist, supports the studio’s mission and growth.
East Coast Tattoo & Piercing Studio offers high-quality custom tattoos and professional body piercings in a welcoming, inclusive environment. The studio also provides community-focused services, including working with Victim Services and survivors of human trafficking to remove unwanted tattoos. Every November, East Coast Tattoo closes to clients and walk-ins to host INKED for Three Oaks, a week-long fundraiser that supports the Three Oaks Foundation during Domestic Violence Awareness Month—an initiative close to Isabelle’s heart as a survivor herself.
The studio is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30am to 5:00pm and is located at 238 Dundas Street East, Trenton.
