Care Connect Psychotherapy & Counselling Services is now open in downtown Trenton, offering compassionate and inclusive mental health support to the Quinte region. Owner and Registered Social Service Worker Erika Szabo (RSSW) brings both professional experience and personal insight to her new private practice. “Opening this practice has been a meaningful step for me, both personally and professionally,” said Szabo. “I’ve always been passionate about holding space for others in their healing journeys, and I’m honoured to be doing that work here.”
Since relocating from Toronto in 2020, Erika has felt a deep connection to the Quinte area and is excited to contribute to its growing mental health community. Care Connect provides individual counselling for teens and adults navigating issues such as anxiety, burnout, complex trauma, relational wounds, and emotional dysregulation. With a person-centered approach, sessions may include somatic and mindfulness-based practices, inner parts work, and body awareness techniques. Erika also offers online therapy, telehealth, walk-and-talk ecotherapy, and creative workshops. Her practice is especially supportive of those healing from complex family dynamics, gender-based violence, and the emotional demands of caregiving roles.
Care Connect is located at 74 Dundas St. W, Unit 5 in Trenton. The practice is open Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.
