A new venture in local advertising solutions is taking shape with the opening of Bright Ad Media in Downtown Trenton, founded by Mylene Broekema. Originally from the Philippines, Mylene moved to Canada eight years ago and has since built a life in Quinte West with her husband Jeff and their son Brady. After overcoming personal challenges, including language barriers and the impacts of COVID-19 on her first business, Mylene found her passion through education and community connection. “This place feels like home. The people are welcoming and the community is so involved,” says Broekema. “I’ve met so many incredible business owners who struggle with marketing and I wanted to create something that helps them grow without the high costs. Bright Ad Media is about making advertising accessible and effective for everyone.”
