RE: New Owners of Lucky Plus Expand with New Live Bait & Tackle Shop
Trenton, ON: Luck Plus Convenience & Gas has been around for many years but new owner Herman Liang has expanded its’ operations with the opening of Lucky Plus Live Bait & Tackle. “I knew when I moved here and bought this business that I wanted to expand and cater to the many fisherman who love fishing in the Bay of Quinte,” says Herman. “The store is conveniently located and I am happy to offer a wide range of products.”
The newly opened Lucky Plus Live Bait and Tackle sells minnows, leeches, worms and a full line of fishing tackle and other fishing accessories, all at a low price. Also in order to offer a full range of services to their customers they also Fishing and Hunting licences and tags.
“Fishing is what the Bay of Quinte is known for,” says Suzanne Andrews, general manager at the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce, “and one of the main experiences that is promoted through the Bay of Quinte Tourist Council. This is a year round destination for fishing and the addition of a good quality live bait and tackle shop will be welcomed by residents and tourists alike.”
Lucky Plus Convenience & Gas is located at 22530 Loyalist PKWY, Trenton and is a FULL service gas station with gas and diesel. They strongly support local businesses and are happy to set up gas or diesel accounts for the businesses. “We have the best diesel prices in Quinte West,” states Herman, “and our customers like that they can also pick up Lottery tickets, convenience store items, Movie Rentals and a great selection of Gift items. They also carry a large selection of e-cigarettes, e-juice and accessories.
“The City is pleased to have such as great service provider within our community,” says City of Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison. “The added value of extending their services to include ice fishing equipment rentals and hosting a fishing derby assists in driving our tourism growth even higher.”
The 2015 Lucky Plus Ice Fishing derby is a 3 day event from February 14 to 16 and is hosted during the family day weekend. Registrations are open now and the last day to register is Friday, February 13. Tickets for the derby are only $10 each, and include great prizes for the 10 largest Pickerel caught. Along with the prizes all participants get 10% off all fishing tackle purchased at the store.
