Rachel Mendes is new to the Quinte West area, and is thrilled to be a part of our tight-knit business community. Looking to escape the big city lifestyle, Mendes decided that Quinte West was not only the best place for her to live, but it was also in need of quality and affordable pest control services. With over 8 years of experience and education in the field, Mendes was inspired to open her own business; Last Call Pest Control. “I had an idea for creating a unique and interesting company, armed with passion and dedication. With the support of my family and friends (and my mascot/dog, Rogue!) I was able to bring my dream to reality,” says Mendes.
Last Call Pest Control provides services ranging from Port Hope to Kingston. The company specializes in extermination of bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas, wasps, ticks, spiders, mice, rats and more. Throughout her time in the industry, Mendes has gained 6 Ontario Pesticide Applicator Licenses, earned her Associate Certificate of Entomology, and won the Empowerment Grant through the Professional Women in Pest Management (a division of the National Pest Management Association). These accolades are a testament to her expertise, and her devotion to the field.
Last Call Pest Control operates from 7am-7pm Monday through Friday, and after hour services are available if needed. Mendes understands that pest control is often urgent, and is committed to getting her customers serviced in a timely fashion.
