The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce brought together local home service professionals last week for a collaborative Home Service Business Owners Roundtable, held at 97 Front Street in Trenton.
Facilitated by Chamber President Jeff McKerracher of A12 Plumbing, Pumps & Water Treatment, the session welcomed representatives from Warren & Co. Contracting, Dows Climate Care, Hill County Property Services, Crozier Heating, Breelan Construction, Rich Interiors, and Canadian Handywoman.
Sponsored by Cofield Home Inspection, the two-hour discussion provided a valuable forum for business owners to share insights, explore common challenges, and identify opportunities for collaboration within the sector.
A strong theme throughout the roundtable was the importance of collaboration and referral partnerships, with participants identifying opportunities to better support one another and enhance the customer experience through coordinated service offerings.
“This roundtable really highlights the value of Chamber membership and the connections it creates between local business owners,” said Jeff McKerracher. “It’s great to be able to sit down with others in the same industry who are willing to share ideas, talk through challenges, and focus on collaboration over competition. I’d encourage other members to connect with the Chamber if they’re interested in hosting a roundtable for their own industry or niche.”
The Quinte West Chamber continues to support the local business community through advocacy, training, and future networking opportunities.
The Chamber plans to host further roundtable discussions for various sectors in the months ahead in the hopes of fostering greater connection, knowledge-sharing, and growth among local businesses.
