The owners are the father son team of Dimitrios and Petros Ringas, who have been operating Jimmy’s Special Pizza in Stirling for over 35 years. They are now bringing their culinary skills to Frankford and now what it takes to run successful businesses in rural Ontario as they have also previously had businesses in Cambellford and Gravenhurst. Riverside Restaurant located at 137 South Trent Street in Frankford is owned by husband and wife, Danny Cheng and Lilian Fang. Danny came to Canada at the age of 8 and grew up in Kingston Ontario. They came to Belleville on a Sushi making contract and ended up falling in love with the Pentecostal Church of Quinte, so they moved to Belleville 2012. Danny’s family has been in the restaurant business since 1990 and he grew up learning all about it. “When my parents retired, my wife and I decided to start up a business for ourselves and the Quinte area was good place to do that,” said Mr. Cheng. “Frankford was an unexpected location for us, but the business opportunity was prefect for us to get started, so we bought the building and moved to Frankford.” To find out more about the Riverside Restaurant you can call 613-398-8818.
Quinte Car Care has recently moved from Belleville and has set up in a new location at 8 South Wellington Street in Frankford. Vic Rivett started the business over 6 years ago and brings with him over 25 years’ experience in the vehicle detailing business. “I am very happy in this new location and really look forward to meeting new customers and offering them my full line of detailing services,” said Mr. Rivett.
