Elected to the QWCC Board in 2019. Brent was born in Scarborough and lived there for 20 years. He attended George Brown for Culinary management and started at the CN Tower. From there he was hooked, and worked in various roles around the world for Marriott Hotels & Resorts. He worked from smaller hotels to 5 star hotels, including the JW Marriott in Muskoka. After working in hotels & restaurants for 15 years, he decided to move into IT for Oracle and was the lead on Four Seasons, Fairmont & Marriott Hotels. He moved to Trenton in 2018 with his wife Jen, twin boys and their dogs and haven’t looked back. They opened Parsons Cafe & Catering in April of 2018 .
