RE: Calling all Artists in Quinte West
Quinte West, ON: Arts Quinte West is calling on all artists from throughout Quinte West to join them for their Membership Meeting and AGM on Thursday March 30 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Trenton. The meeting starts at 7pm and features guest speaker Robert Kranendok with a presentation called Creative Paths – How Life Events Changed and Shaped His Artistic Path.
This meeting is a great opportunity to learn more about the group, which is open to all artists of all mediums including but not limited to: musicians, actors, painters, photographers, authors, illustrators, videographers, artisans, craft persons, cartoonists and drawings. During the AGM portion of the evening, there will be a review of the previous year with renewals for existing members and the sign up of new members. AQW memberships are $30 per year for an artist member and only $10 for students.
There are many benefits to members, which include an enhanced artist profile on www.artsquintewest.ca , attendance and booth at special events, discounted supplies and participation in the AQW Community Showcase. Many members choose to display & sell their art through the Community Showcase locations at the City Hall and Library, the Mayor’s Office, Trent Port Marina, Wilkinson Financial, Frankford Municipal Building, Trenton Pharmacy, Trenton DBIA office and the Quinte West Medical Centre.
