Quinte Little Theatre (QLT), a new not-for-profit community theatre, is proud to open its doors in the heart of Quinte West. The theatre was created to offer a welcoming, creative space for individuals to express themselves and grow in the arts. “We are so excited to share this big idea with our community,” said Amber Lucas, Chair of QLT. “Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive home for creative individuals and provide opportunities for people to learn and develop their skills.”
QLT offers a wide variety of live theatre experiences, including play readings, musical revues, comedy skits, workshops, and camps. These activities are designed to engage participants of all ages and skill levels, encouraging artistic exploration in a supportive and fun environment. In addition to performances, QLT is dedicated to fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts through educational programs and community events.
Quinte Little Theatre is located at 55 King Street, Trenton, and is excited to launch its first two shows: The Quinte West Variety Show on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 7:00pm, and Rock Bottom: Happily Never After on Friday, September 20 (7:00pm) and 21 (2:00pm and 7:00pm).
