Stoneburg Cove Resort, a local getaway destination, is pleased to announce its official re-opening following extensive renovations. They are also excited to celebrate 10 years in business under the current ownership, marking a decade of memorable guest experiences. Owners Steffen and Ricky Wiehr moved to Quinte West in 2014 and purchased the resort after visiting the area since the early 1990s. “After operating tutoring centers for over a decade, our passion for the area and our ongoing dream of opening an accommodation business led us to Stoneburg Cove Resort,” said Steffen.
The resort is on the water in Wellers Bay, making it an ideal location for guests seeking a peaceful retreat or an active outdoor holiday. The property provides guests with various lodging options including cottages, motel rooms, and newly added studios and docks. They have 17 seasonal RV sites, 45 marina slips, and can accommodate groups ranging from 1 to 60 people. “We are excited to invite both new and returning visitors to experience our boutique cottages which combines the country atmosphere with all the comforts of modern living,” said Steffen. “Our goal is to offer an authentic cottage experience that is both inviting and affordable.”
Visitors can begin booking their stays for the 2024 season starting immediately. The resort will operate seasonally from May 1st to October 31st, with office hours from 8:00am to 9:30pm. They are located at 59 Carter Rd., Carrying Place and can be reached by phone at (613) 475-0765.
