Sunday, November 27, 2022 – Santa Claus is coming to town!
Get ready for a visit from Santa at the Trenton Santa Claus Parade. The parade this year takes place on Sunday, November 27 at 4:30 pm. Bundle up and head out to see all the wonderful floats built by local businesses, organizations and service clubs. Listen to a selection of bands from across the region as they play some Christmas favorites for the community to enjoy. These bands are funded through our sponsors and by donations from local businesses, service groups and individuals.
This year, we are dedicating the parade to a longtime Parade volunteer, Wayne Campbell who passed away earlier this year. Wayne has been our lead volunteer for close to 20 years helping us behind the scenes to ensure Santa’s float was lit up and well decorated for the children in our community. “The Santa Float was by far a favorite project of Wayne’s and we are pleased to be able to honour his memory in this way,” said Suzanne Andrews, CEO at the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce.
The parade will leave Centennial Park at 4:30 pm, make its way up Campbell St, and then follows Dundas St East over the bridge and through downtown around 5:00 pm. Watch for the Canada Post carriers as they walk through the parade to collect your letters and deliver them directly to Santa at the North Pole! Address your Santa letter to Santa Claus, North Pole, HOH OHO Canada. Remember to include your return address!
