2020 Quinte Business Achievement Awards Winners

Over 200 people joined the online celebration to acknowledge 15 outstanding businesses throughout the Bay of Quinte Region on October 23^rd.  The Quinte Business Achievement Award recipients were announced virtually during the 24^th Annual Awards Presentation on Friday.  Over the past 20 years the Business Achievement Awards program has recognized the individuals, companies and organizations nominated by their community who demonstrate business excellence and help make the Bay of Quinte Region one of the best places to work and live.

“The pandemic has put a spotlight on both the vulnerability and resilience represented by our small business community this year, and nominations were as high as ever.  While not every nominee completes the application, it is clear the businesses in our region are valued” says Jill Raycroft, committee chair.  “We had 117 companies complete the nomination process, showcasing the great diversity and strength Quinte businesses have; we are proud of all the nominees.”

The first business awards event was organized to celebrate the success of small business.  Over the years the Award categories have evolved to recognize companies of all sizes across a wide expanse of sectors. As always, the heart and soul of this annual event remains the same: to recognize and celebrate business excellence in Quinte.

“The judging was no easier this year than any other though more than ever, we want to acknowledge each and every business owner and entrepreneur during these difficult times” says Raycroft.
