The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce will host a virtual Provincial Candidate Forum on Thursday, February 13 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. This discussion and debate will be livestreamed through the QW Chamber YouTube channel so you can watch from the comfort of your office or home without worrying about the winter weather. This event is for the benefit of the business community and the public and the questions are expected to cover a wide range of topics.
Provincial candidates representing parties with at least one seat in the provincial legislature have confirmed their participation.
- Amanda Robertson – Ontario New Democratic Party (NDP)
- David O’Neil – Ontario Liberal Party
- Lori Borthwick – Green Party of Ontario
- Tyler Allsopp – Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario (PC)
All candidates will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and outline the issues they are campaigning on. This will be followed by questions that have been submitted in advance to the Quinte West Chamber. Each candidate will have a maximum of three minutes for his or her opening remarks and a maximum of 2 minutes for their closing remarks. There will be a limit of 2 minutes for answering each of the questions submitted by the public. Please note submitted questions may not be quoted directly and may be combined with other similar questions.
