Quinte West, ON: Ryan Laliberte, local entrepreneur and volunteer firefighter in Quinte West has expanded and moved his operations to meet a growing need in the area with the opening of Trident Truck and Trailer, a commercial truck and trailer repair centre. He has recently moved to a new facility in the North Murray Industrial Park that includes 5 acres of land and a 20,000 sq/ft building. “I grew up in the Stirling area and developed an early interest in fixing cars which along the way led me to begin an apprenticeship as a heavy truck technician. As time went on, my interest peaked in specializing in emergency services and I continue to have a passion for fixing commercial trucks and trailers” said Laliberte. “I started the original company, 10-8 Equipment and Service in 2016 which specializes in Fire Apparatus Service and Repair; Fire Apparatus Pump Testing and Emergency and Municipal Vehicle Equipment Design and Upfitting. This recent expansion with Trident Truck and Trailer allows me to expand my operations beyond Emergency Vehicles.”
Trident Truck and Trailer, located at 160 North Murray St in Trenton is now Quinte West’s largest truck and trailer facility. They can handle any job big or small whether it is a simple oil change on your dump truck to major engine work to replacing roofs or panels on a trailer. Ryan Laliberte is a trained and licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician as well as a Certified Emergeny Vehicle Technician.
