Taylor Russett is a young entrepreneur, photographer, and lifelong resident of the Quinte West area. Russett first became a business owner at the age of 16, opening up his own photography business: Russett Photography. Purchasing the Grind and Vine (formally known as the Grind Café for over a decade) is Russett’s latest business endeavor, and he is thrilled to join the downtown Trenton core. “I look forward to giving the space a new life, while continuing the cafés decade-old legacy of customer service, quality products, and an inclusive social atmosphere.” says Russett.
While gaining business experience through his ongoing successful photography career, Russett still believes his original motto, “capturing authentic moments,” applies to his new endeavor at the Grind and Vine. The cafés updated space is inspired by genuine social interactions, where conversations can bloom between friends, both new and old. It is important to Russett to create a space that is inclusive and welcoming to all customers.
The Grind and Vine offers handcrafted espresso drinks, coffee, tea, local Prince Edward County wines from Huff Estates, fresh baked goods and select charcuterie favorites. The café and wine bar staff are readily available to recommend the perfect drink to fit each customer’s time (or type) of day. Additionally, Russett confirms that the café will be taking all of the proper Covid-19 protocols to ensure the safety of customers.
The Grind and Vine is open Monday-Wednesday from 8:00am-5:00pm, Thursday-Saturday from 8:00am-9:00pm and is closed on Sundays. Customers can find the café conveniently located at 45 Front Street in Trenton.
