Quinte West: Rollin’ Oats has officially opened its doors downtown Trenton after finding success at the Front Street Farmers’ Market.
Quinte West resident Katie Pearsall started the bakery in 2020 at the Front Street Farmers’ Market with her now famous fresh fruit crumbles, which quickly gained popularity in the community.
After a successful 4 weeks this summer as a vendor at the Quinte West Pop-ups in Centennial Park, Pearsall received guidance from City of Quinte West employees Karen Parker and Brian Gratten to find a storefront location in downtown Trenton.
“During that time, we were able to grow our business and introduce new menu items,” says Pearsall. “We pride ourselves on offering all locally made baked goods, coffee, tea and more. We also strive to be as eco-friendly as possible and use as many recyclable and compostable takeout containers as possible.”
