Quinte Paint & Wallpaper is locally owned by B.J. & Erin McLeod. B.J. is a second-generation owner, carrying on the family business that B.J.’s parents Alex & Marilyn started with the opening of the Belleville location in 1990. Their second location opened in Picton in 2015 and Quinte West will mark their third location.
B.J. started working in the business during high school and continued working in the business while attending Loyalist College. This year marks the 25th anniversary of B.J.’s involvement in the business. Erin joined the family business in 2008 and now looks after the day-to-day office operations. B.J. & Erin have two kids, Emma and Gavin, who were both excited to watch the new store come together. “With our current customer base already including a percentage from the Quinte West region, we felt it was a great opportunity for us to expand our reach, while offering our existing customers a closer store to them that still has all of their previous paint records available to them,” said B.J. McLeod. “All three of our stores are linked to a single data base, so basically you’re buying from the same store no matter which location you go to.”
Quinte Paint & Wallpaper is a full line Benjamin Moore paint dealer. It offers a full selection of paints for the home as well as many professional products for commercial and industrial locations. Quinte Paint & Wallpaper offers one of the largest wallpaper book libraries in the area and is also a custom Graber blind dealer.

All money spent at our stores stays in each community that our stores are in.”
