Kraft Village is expanding throughout the Bay of Quinte with their second location opening its doors in Trenton. “Consumer demand was the driving factor behind the decision to open a second location in Quinte West,” says owner Eugene Filice. The locally owned family business was first established in 1986 and purchased by Filice in 2013. The Belleville store was then relocated to a bigger location. “We carry different items and inventory between the 2 stores in order to offer a wider selection. With respect to fabric and yarns, what is available at one location is not available at the other location. In essence we have doubled our selection in order to offer consumers a larger choice of fabrics and yarns,” he says.
Kraft Village sells fabric, yarn and notions. The business is also an authorized Bernina/Bernette Dealer, selling new and pre-owned sewing machines. They also service all brands of sewing machines. The parts and service department is located at the Trenton location and sewing machines are serviced on site. Customers have access to a technician as required for assistance and to answer any questions they may have regarding their sewing machines. Experienced quilters and seamstresses are also on staff to help customers with any projects.
