Quinte West, ON: A new bar opening in Quinte West founded by two retired military men who have been long-time friends. Double D Sports Bar and Grill is co-owned by Doug Vienneau and Dan Gallant (hence the Double D) and has opened up in Tuckers Corners. “We were recently reunited to catch up and reminisce after we retired from our respective services,” said Dan Gallant,” and after we chatted about all the ideas we have had over the years a dream sparked to life, and the Double D Sports Bar and Grill was born. Thanks to the hard work of so many people and the enduring support of family and friends 'Double D Sports Bar & Grill' opened in January.”
The owners of the Double D Sports Bar and Grill are proud to provide a service back to their communities and are buying and promoting products from this area. “We will endeavour to provide a top of the line restaurant and sports bar for our patrons,” said Doug Vienneau. “We want to provide an establishment in which all members of our surrounding communities through all walks of life feel at home and comfortable coming through the doors.“
Double D will be hosting a wide entertainment range including everything from live bands to major sporting events and open jams/mic to karaoke nights every week! They want their customers to know that they want their help and ideas on how to make Double D Sports Bar the ‘place to be’. Future events will also include dart and pool leagues/teams that can represent our area.
It is not surprising that the Double D owners are complete supporters of all Emergency Services personnel including Police, Firefighters, Paramedics and of course our Canadian Military. They look forward to welcoming them anytime whether on duty or not and will be proud to have them come through the doors.
