The Government of Ontario has appointed an Advisory Panel to provide advice on how the province should determine future changes to the minimum wage. The information received at the consultation meetings will form a part of the review and contribute to the Panel’s recommendations to the Minister of Labour.
If your organization is affected by changes to the minimum wage, you will have the opportunity to make a presentation to the Panel at one of their regional consultation meetings. More information on the Advisory Panel and its work can be found here.
The Minimum Wage Advisory Panel will hold two consultations in Toronto in September.
