Originally from Alberta, Tomas Crossley, a classically trained chef with over 20 years of experience, began his journey to the Quinte Region with his family at the end of 2018. During this move, they simultaneously launched a catering company run from their fully equipped mobile kitchen parked in their driveway. After needing to expand to a larger space, Kaleidoscope Catering opened their doors in Quinte West at 8 Dundas St. W. in downtown Trenton. “This is our first business endeavor, and we chose the Quinte West area because of its excellent tourism, it’s proximity to natural areas, and the bounty of excellent producers,” said Crossley, owner of Kaleidoscope Catering. “We knew we could find success if we offered a quality product and appealed to the many people who wish to celebrate in the region, from bachelor/bachelorette parties and weddings to birthdays and anniversary parties and everything in between.”
At Kaleidoscope, they customize their menus, tailored to the taste, style and budget of their clients. Their food is globally inspired and founded on quality local ingredients, as they prepare everything they serve from scratch. Kaleidoscope Catering is a full service cater that also offers a full meal delivery service called Comforts of Home. They now offer delivery to nearly anywhere in Prince Edward County, Belleville, Trenton, and beyond.
The menus change weekly and launch every Sunday morning at 8:30am. Meals are prepared fresh at the start of every week, the bread and treats are baked in house, then everything is delivered right to your doorstep every Thursday. “All heating instructions are found directly on Kaleidoscope’s website and are quick and easy,” Tomas says. “Within 45 minutes, you can have a gourmet meal ready to eat.”
Kaleidoscope Catering is open Monday to Friday from 8:00AM – 4:00PM.
