Born and raised in Quinte West, Stephanie Webb started her practice as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in 2008 working from The Chiropractic Centre in Trenton. Later she moved to Toronto and then Kingston to teach a Massage Therapy program at Trillium College, while also practicing within the field. Webb made her way back to Trenton in 2014 and joined Dr. Anthony Gillespie at Quinte West Family Chiropractic. Between thriving in her career and starting a family, Webb decided the time was right to expand the practice.
Trenton Massage and Lymphedema Clinic opened its doors in September of 2019, and this October they were able to add two more RMT’s to the team, filling out all four treatment rooms. “Our demand continues to outgrow our availability, so after much discussion and planning with Dr. Gillespie, I took on the expansion of the massage therapy portion of our office, with my own business,” says Webb. “Quinte West has had a need for more access to RMT’s for many years now, and my hope for this business was to provide that service, along with promoting continuing education to my RMT’s for continued growth and offering multiple massage services to our clients.”
Trenton Massage and Lymphedema Clinic offers massage therapy for all ages and abilities such as prenatal, infant, cupping, TMJD (temporomandibular joint dysfunction), deep tissue, relaxation, manual lymph drainage and combined decongestive therapy. In addition to their hands-on services, the clinic sells gift certificates and several self-care tools that are frequently recommended for use by the clinic’s RMT’s. The office is wheelchair accessible, and one of the RMT’s is able to communicate through ASL (American Sign Language).
The hours at Trenton Massage and Lymphedema Clinic are Monday- Friday from 8:30am-7:00pm (each day varies in start & end time). The clinic operates alongside Quinte West Family Chiropractic at 20 Joseph Street in Trenton, and the two utilize the same reception and phone number. They offer direct billing to most insurance companies and Veteran’s Affairs.
