Flyby Brewing Company is officially opening its doors in Quinte West. Although customers have been enjoying the brewery for some time, we are pleased to formally welcome them to the local business community. Owners Adam Stepanek, Adrienne Shpeley, and David Shpeley originally aimed to open the brewery on their farm in Stirling but were forced to pivot when the pandemic hit. After 6 months of renovations, Flyby Brewing opened their doors. “We are called Flyby Brewing Company due to our proximity to the air force base,” said Adam, “everyday there’s an air show above our brewery from all the military planes.” Many of Flyby’s customers work on the base and enjoy going to the brewery for a cold beer and the relaxing atmosphere.
All of Flyby’s beers are brewed fresh in-house by their team. Their core varieties are hazy IPA, pale ale, light local, and dirty red ale. In addition to their regular varieties, they have monthly rotations including Czech pilsner, cream ale, golden ale and stout. Customers can enjoy beers at the brewery with a small pub-style menu, or they can take-away. Flyby strives to create a fun atmosphere with Wing Wednesdays, Open-Mic Thursdays, and they’re even looking into starting a dart league.
Flyby Brewing Company is open Tuesday to Saturday 2:00-8:00pm. They’re located at Unit 6, 2223 Hamilton Road, Trenton, and can be reached by phone at (613) 965-6888. They can also be found on Facebook under ‘Flyby Brewing Company’ and on Instagram with the handle @flybybrewco.
