Designs by Alexis Rose, a full-service floral design studio, is thrilled to announce the opening of their new storefront at 255 Glen Miller Road, in the Riverside Plaza. With over 10 years of experience in the floral industry, founder Alexis Rose started her business in her home at the beginning of the pandemic so she could stay at home with her young daughter. After moving to Quinte West in October 2021 with her family, including her husband, a military pilot at CFB Trenton, Alexis felt inspired by the community’s warmth and quickly began booking weddings and special events. “The support from the Quinte West community has been incredible,” says Alexis, “I’m so grateful to share my love for flowers and have a space where people can connect through the art of floral design.”
Designs by Alexis Rose offers an extensive range of floral services, including custom wedding and event floral design, daily bouquets and arrangements, and sympathy work. With the new studio space, Alexis is introducing hands-on floral workshops, from bouquet arranging to wreath making, allowing the community to explore floral art firsthand. The studio will also carry a curated selection of giftware from local and Ontario-based businesses, emphasizing Alexis’s commitment to supporting local artisans and small businesses.
