Quinte West, ON: The Opening of Ryde Automotive in Quinte West has been a lifelong dream of Jeff Brown. He took the steps needed to open this business after he retired from the Canadian Armed Forces with over 27 years of service. After he took the Ontario Motor Vehicle industry council (OMVIC) Used Car Dealer course and license, he can now make his dream a reality. “I have always been passionate about vehicles and collecting a few muscle cars over the years and buying and selling from my personal collection has helped me progress to become a Dealer,” said Brown. “I met Bill Cormier a few years ago and by keeping in touch with him and tapping into his many years of experience along with my own experiences from my first Mustang to detailing cars for St. Albert Dodge I know it is the right fit for me.”
What makes Ryde Automotive different is that they are small. Small means they have low overhead which makes it easier to keep prices tight for their clients. Ryde Automotive is named after his son Ryder and together they have spent many hours enjoying Go Karts and all things with wheels.
