A long-held dream has finally come to life with the opening of The Jolly Baking Company, a boutique bakery founded by Judy Lazaro and Robbie Teodorovic. After relocating from Toronto to Quinte West in 2020, the couple embraced a fresh start in their new community, but it was a deeply personal loss that ultimately inspired their next chapter. “When my father passed away unexpectedly in the fall of 2023, it was a wake-up call,” Judy shared. “It made me realize that life is too short to keep postponing the things that truly matter. Opening this bakery is my way of honouring his memory and creating something meaningful for the place we now call home.”
The Jolly Baking Company offers a wide selection of fresh, made-from-scratch baked goods including cookies, brownies, scones, buns, pies, cheesecakes, and their signature award-winning butter tarts. Whether you’re stopping in for a treat or placing a custom order for a special occasion, every item is baked with care and a touch of joy.
