The Afridi family embarked on their journey to Canada 22 years ago in search for a better life. Despite the emotional and financial challenges, they faced in their early years as immigrants, their unwavering determination and perseverance paid off. They now stand as the proud owners of one of North America’s fastest growing quick-service restaurant chains called Osmow’s. “We carefully chose Quinte West as our newest franchise location due to its growing community and untapped market potential,” said Afridi. “The decision to open this fast-food business stemmed from our love for this type of food and flavours, which we know local residents will also enjoy.”
Osmow’s Shawarma offers an extensive menu offering a modern take on classic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes featuring shawarmas, pita wraps, falafel, and daily specials to name a few. Looking ahead, the Afridi family envisions expanding their business further, exploring new locations, and continuing to provide exceptional dining experiences to their customers.
