CMP Group is excited to open Norm’s Marine Surplus in Quinte West. Initially founded in the early 1900s, CMP Group is now a global brand operating in North America and Europe. CMP Group is made up of many individual brands producing and sourcing products for the military, commercial and recreational fishing, and marine industries.
“The new business is an expansion of the existing Rope Store retail store, and the new products are surplus marine accessories from other divisions of CMP Group,” said Norm Grant. “Most products are manufactured in other CMP plants located in Canada and the USA.”
Norm’s Marine Surplus offers a wide variety of marine accessories for boats and docks. Products available include dock lines and running rigging for sailboats, boat fenders, dock ladders, cleats, solar lights and dock edging, Vulcan and Rocna anchors, mooring whips, and portable toilets and sanitation supplies. Norm’s Marine Surplus also offers custom dock lines and splicing services for running rigging on sailboats.
