Stirling, ON: A new business has opened up in Stirling that specializes in unique products you won’t find anywhere else in the area. Look what the cat dragged in is the brain child of Evelyn smith and Lisa MacDonald who know what a challenge it can be in this day and age to find good quality clothing at a reasonable cost as they each raised four children of their own. “The store is designed for those who desire to dress their children in the styles and brand names of today's fashions, but is affordable to their family's income,” said store co-owner Evelyn Smith.
They have a large supply of very gently used clothing such as LuLu Lemon, Roots, Old Navy, Pink and many other brands. They also have a large selection of new ladies, and children’s clothing, jewelry, purses, picture, baby clothes and much more. They also have a play room in the back with toys children can play with while shopper browse and if there is a favourite it can also be purchased.
When they purchase used clothing they make sure of its quality, and will give it a final cleaning and inspection before they sell it. “We encourage everyone to come in and look around,” said store co-owner Lisa McDonald. “We love it when people stop in for a chat and a browse, being in a small town is great for this as people have time for that personal touch and we like nothing better than to meet and greet people.”
Look What the Cat dragged In is located at 21 West Front Street in Stirling and they would like to invite everyone to stop in their store on Saturday, May 28 for their Open House. While visiting don’t forget to check out the small children's clothing in the back room called “look what the kitten dragged in”. You can find them on Facebook or call them for more details 613-847-5576.
