At the 75th Anniversary event held at the Trent Port Marina, the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce also celebrated Membership Services Coordinator, Jennifer Snider, as she retires from the QW Chamber after 20 years. Jennifer’s remarkable tenure has left a lasting mark on the Quinte West business community, and her dedication will be remembered by all who have had the pleasure of working with her. Chamber CEO, Suzanne Andrews, who has worked closely alongside Jennifer since 2006, addressed the audience with a heartfelt message for her colleague and friend:
Good evening everyone, my name is Suzanne Andrews, and I am the CEO at the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce.
Tonight, we gather not only to celebrate 75 years of service to our business community but also to honor someone whose name has become synonymous with dedication and excellence—Jennifer Snider.
On behalf of the entire team here at the Quinte West Chamber, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your 20 years of dedicated service as Membership Services Coordinator at the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce. Over the years you have been much more than a colleague— you have been the heart of our Chamber.
I remember the day I hired you, a member of the hiring committee looked at me and said, “you will never regret hiring her, she is going to be an amazing employee,” and she was correct! We have both grown professionally through our roles at the chamber, we raised our families together and we had a lot of fun along the way as we put on events, delivered services, advocated on business issues and welcomed new members and new board members to the organization
Your compassion, loyalty, and unwavering commitment have been the foundation of so many successes. You have gone above and beyond your role time and again—always putting members first, always ensuring that every interaction reflected care and professionalism, always supporting me in my role as the CEO, through both the successes and the challenges. Your ability to make people feel valued and supported has strengthened not only our Chamber but our entire business community.
Jennifer’s ability to build relationships, solve challenges, and create a welcoming environment has strengthened our Chamber and enriched our community, whether organizing events, supporting businesses through transitions, or simply offering a kind word when it was needed most.
Tonight, we celebrate not just her years of service! Jennifer: your legacy is one of excellence and heart. While we will miss your presence and expertise, we celebrate the incredible impact you’ve made and the relationships you’ve nurtured over two decades.
As you step into retirement, we hope this next chapter brings you joy, relaxation, and all the wonderful things you truly deserve.
