Quinte West, ON — Rushnell Funeral Centre is rebuilding its home on Division Street in Trenton. Craig Rushnell, son of Doug Rushnell who founded Rushnell Family Services, is the owner of Rushnell Family services and said, “we have been serving families in the Quinte and surrounding region since 1961 when Doug Rushnell found his true calling and opened the first Rushnell Funeral Centre. We truly believe the difference is in the details and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our new 9,000 square foot funeral centre when it opens late fall 2019.”
The new state-of-the-art facility will better serve families by being fully accessible and spacious, be home to a large multi-purpose chapel, two large interchangeable visitation rooms, a state-of-the-art reception centre, welcoming lobby area, technologically advanced features, a large parking lot and much more.
The funeral centre focuses on serving families and coming up with innovative ideas on how to meet the changing needs of families in the area. “By creating this welcoming state-of-the-art facility, we look forward to better serve the families in this region with the utmost dignified and professional service,” said Rushnell.
The new facility will be dedicated in memory of the founders of Rushnell Family Services, Doug and Mary Rushnell.
