RE: Parsons Café and Catering Opens in Quinte West
Quinte West, ON: Like many people moving to the Quinte area, Brent and Jen Parsons relocated here last summer to get a better quality of life. They brought along their twin 5-year-old boys, two dogs and 15 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry. They were thrilled to purchase the Macintosh café in April of this year and have recently renamed it Parsons Café & Catering. “After years of working in the industry, Jen and I are looking forward to running our own business and expanding the catering to offer a wide variety of choices for large and small events,” said owner Brent Parsons.
Brent and Jen have worked in Canada, the United States and St. Kitts in the Caribbean. They have taken on various roles within Marriott & Fairmont hotels including both front and back of house duties. They have worked at high-end hotels such as the JW Marriott in Muskoka and The Ritz Carlton in Toronto and look forward to showcasing their skills and bringing something a little different to the Quinte Region. “We take pride in serving quality foods, and providing impeccable service,” said Jen Parsons. “We can work with customers to design a menu or event theme tailored to their specific budget and any special services or dietary needs.
Parsons Café and Catering is located at 17 Frankford Crescent in Trenton and offers breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday 7am-3pm. Catering is available for a variety of events from small business luncheons to large banquet functions.
