Sarah’s career started at Brock University where she earned a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology. During her studies, Sarah was the trainer for the varsity women’s rugby and hockey teams where she treated athlete injuries and facilitated athlete training programs. Following university, Sarah moved back to her hometown to start her career and founded Sarah Ditmars Sports Performance. In addition, Sarah is the Head Therapist and Conditioning Coach for the Trenton Golden Hawks Jr. ‘A’ hockey team (OJHL).

As Registered Kinesiologist, Sarah is an expert in exercise prescription and movement analysis.

Sarah has coached athletes in the gym since 2010, helping them achieve personal bests both in the gym and in their sport.

As a regulated health professional (R.Kin), Sarah is trained to therapeutically treat a variety of injuries. Whether the injury is a result of chronic overuse or acute inflammation, Sarah helps athletes recover and return to play.

Sarah also offers a wide body of knowledge in sports psychology. While working on her Master’s degree she studied the relationship between efficacy behaviours and athlete performance. Her experiences have allowed her to transfer her understanding of sports psychology into her practice.
